Cats for adoption greenville SC
We are Strictly a no-kill animal rescue of companion animals facing death in high kill animal shelters in Upstate S.C.!
All the animals you see here are awaiting their forever home, they all have a story. Some we know and Some we will never know.
We have many puppies and kittens not featured on this site, but most can be seen, by appointment.
Please spay and neuter, it is the only answer to stop senseless euthanasia in our shelters!
ADOPTION FEES AND APPROVED APPLICATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR EVERY ADOPTION! Upstate Animal Rescue Foundation of South Carolina currently operates in, Anderson, Pickens, Greenville, and Oconee counties in the state of South Carolina. We are working toward lowering the rate that dogs and cats are being put to death in animal shelters by assisting animals into breed specific rescues as well as into private, adoptive placements. This is primarily done by the use of foster homes as intermediaries.- Myth: all dogs with black tongues are chows.
Fact: all breeds can have black or black spotted tongues.Myth: all dogs with brindle coats are pit bull Terriers
Fact: all breeds can have a bridle or reverse brindle coat.
Once an applicant is approved, we will make an appointment for you to meet the animal!
If you would like to adopt any of the animals that are posted here, just contact the e-mails listed for that particular pet. We will make every effort to answer all of your questions and to make adoptions happen as quickly as possible. All adopted animals must be kept as indoor pets, with appropriate and secure exercise time outside, this is to help ensure that the adopted animal will be a part of the family. We do not allow cabling or chaining of any animal. If you currently cable or chain your pet, we will not approve you for adoption.
If you have un-altered pets or dogs who are not on heart worm prevention, we will not approve you for adoption.
We require a completed adoption application, a veterinary reference, and/or a home visit for any and all adoptions. Adopters must sign a legally binding contract. Also please remember that, we adopt some animals who are too young for the rabies vaccine at the time of adoption. It is your responsibility, as the new pet parent, to obtain this vaccine against the deadly rabies disease. You must sign a rabies verification contract.
Adoption fees are checks only
