Gateway Pet Guardians has more than 50 adoptable dogs and cats at any given time and all of them have lots of furry (and sometimes slobbery) love to give you. If you’re looking to adopt a pet in St. Louis, take a look at our list of adoptable pets to see which of our fur-babies will look best in your next family photo.
If you find a dog or cat that you are interested in adopting, please read our adoption policy carefully and fill out an adoption application. The foster parent of that pet will contact you and provide information about the adoption process.
Please note that our Emergency Shelter is not a public shelter and most of our adoptable animals are in individual foster homes. Therefore we do not allow “walk-ins” at the shelter. If you would like to meet one of our animals, please fill out an adoption application.
Adoption Fees:
Puppy (6 months and under) Adoption Fee: $195
Adult Dog Adoption Fee: $150
Kitten (6 months and under) Adoption Fee: $50
Cat Adoption Fee: $25
